Mass Border Crossings in Yuma

I’m here filming

I’ve been in Yuma Arizona filming for the last several days. After a little bit of scouting I was able to find the major crossing points where the cartels are directing migrants to the border.

Border Patrol told me these guys didn’t want to get caught entering the country illegally. Criminals, probably. I’m in Yuma, AZ filming. Will be out tonight filming heavy traffic areas. Bannon wants me on the show tomorrow.

I’ve only seen this many border crossers in pictures or news articles or on the news, usually Fox News, no one else is covering them. It’s about 800 to 1000 border crossers at just this one spot in Yuma.

Governor Ducey had rail cars placed between gaps in the border wall that Trump had built.

Border Patrol agents tell me that the amount of illegal crossers has not slowed down because of the rail cars but they do funnel people to other areas where it’s easier to process them.

On Thursday night around 10:30 PM the migrants started crossing. The mood was jubilant somewhat like a party - people were yelling and jumping up and down, celebrating and pointing at me when I was filming, saying “take a picture of me!”

I asked some of them where they were from and they said from Cuba and I heard over the border patrol radio that there were several from Afghanistan and some from Russia.

There were many different nationalities coming in.

Friday night about the same amount of people crossed illegally but the mood was somber. So many people were coughing and sick. It was dead silent except for the kids.

Once again in Yuma, close to a thousand people from many countries cross into the U.S. illegally. It’s a nightly thing. Last night the mood was celebratory among the border crossers. Tonight was starkly different. Very quiet with many sick and coughing. Two ambulances came out.

A few ambulances came out. One person was taken away.

I’ll be on Steve Bannon’s War Room to discuss the situation and what I saw next week.

I’m heading to the We Build the Wall border wall in New Mexico now, and then to Eagle Pass to film there.
