A Border Patrol agent informed me that all of the agents who are working in the Lukeville, Arizona, area, came down with a mystery illness that has baffled doctors so specialists are being brought in.
I spent 7 weeks documenting the crisis in Lukeville, Arizona. I camped out in my Jeep at the port of entry there from October to December 2023.
I was going to camp away from the port area, but agents told me it wasn’t safe because illegal aliens regularly flooded the entire area and would try to break into my Jeep.
An agent actually rode up on a quad ATV while I was near an abandoned motel and told me I should camp at the port where they operated for safety.
The agent who told me about everyone getting sick said it was kind of like bronchitis.
