Yevgeny Prighozin, the chief of the Wagner PMC mercenary group that is fighting on behalf of Russia in Ukraine has accused his nemesis, Minister of Defense (MoD) Sergei Shoigu, of shelling Wagner troops in Ukraine and killing dozens of them on purpose.

This alleged attack comes after Prighozin’s latest war of words with Shoigu and other Russian defense officials.

The Wagner Group chief put out a video on Friday saying that they misled Putin about Ukraine in order to start the war and are now profiting off of it.

After that, Wagner troops were hit by rockets or artillery and helicopter gunships according to Prighozin.

Now Prighozin says he is sending an army to Moscow to wipe out Shoigu and other MoD officials, and any Russian troops who resist him along the way will be destroyed.

This means a coup is beginning in Russia at this moment.

Major news outlets have just begun reporting on the situation.

Wagner troops are currently heading to Moscow in large convoys according to reports, and Moscow is being ringed by MoD officials with tanks and defensive equipment and troops.

Prighozin’s declaration of war on the Russian Ministry of Defense went on:

"Declaring war on the Russian Ministry of Defence:

"PMC Wagner Commanders’ Council made a decision: the evil brought by the military leadership of the country must be stopped.

They neglect the lives of soldiers. They forgot the word “justice”, and we will bring it back.

Those, who destroyed today our guys, who destroyed tens, tens of thousands of lives of Russian soldiers will be punished.

I’m asking: no one resist. Everyone who will try to resist, we will consider them a danger and destroy them immediately, including any checkpoints on our way. And any aviation that we see above our heads.

I’m asking everyone to remain calm, do not succumb to provocations, and remain in their houses. Ideally, those along our way, do not go outside.

After we finished what we started, we will return to the frontline to protect our motherland.

Presidential authority, Government, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rosgvardia, and other departments will continue operating as before.

We will deal with those who destroy Russian soldiers. And we will return to the frontline.

Justice in the Army will be restored. And after this, justice for the whole of Russia."

The Russian FSB has reportedly surrounded Wagner headquarters and Wagner troops have taken up defensive positions.

Recently, Prighozin accused the MoD of not supplying Wagner troops with enough guns and ammo to take the city of Bakhmut which turned into a meat grinder as both sides threw thousands of troops into the months-long battle.

Politico reported today that the “outspoken billionaire questioned the Kremlin’s rationale for starting the war, admitting “the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not going to attack Russia with NATO.”

The Wagner chief went on, ““The war was needed for a bunch of scumbags to triumph and show how strong of an army they are,” adding it was part of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu’s plan to secure a promotion. According to him, Shoigu is to blame for setbacks on the battlefield as a result of having “killed thousands of the most combat-ready Russian soldiers in the opening days of the war,”” according to the outlet.

On Friday, Yahoo News reported that Prighozin “criticised Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and the General Staff for the failure of hostilities, stating that Ukraine did not plan to attack Donbas in 2022, and said that the Russian officials wanted the war, and the oligarchs wanted to make money.”

Quote: "After 2014, the entire Donbas was scattered and looted by various people. Some of them were from the presidential administration, some from the FSB, some oligarchs, such as Kurchenko [Serhii – ed.], were involved. These are people who stole money from the residents of Donbas, who were in the unrecognised republics of LPR [so-called Luhansk People’s Republic – ed.] and DNR [so-called Donetsk People’s Republic – ed.]."

Quote: "As of 24 February, there was nothing extraordinary [on the contact line in Donbas – ed.]. Now the Russian Defence Ministry is trying to deceive society, is trying to deceive the president and create a story that there was insane aggression on the part of Ukraine and they tried to attack us together with the entire NATO bloc."

Quote: "He killed the most combat-ready part of the army," Prigozhin said.

For my regular readers, on June 2nd, my birthday, I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. It’s stage 1 and non-aggressive. I have a PET scan next week to figure out what is causing my lymph nodes to swell and cause nausea and pain. I’m planning another border reporting trip after we get everything figured out.
